What material is the frame made of?

• The frame is made of genuine pine wood with a gold or silver finish. The surface gives a classic look, is UV-resistant and does not peel off.

How is the frame installed?

• The frame comes with a suspension. It can be mounted immediately in portrait or landscape format using plugs and screws.

How is the canvas picture secured in the frame?

• The canvas is pressed firmly into the frame with bending metal pins to hold it in place. This prevents the print from slipping. However, should the canvas shift unexpectedly, the pins can simply be bent open again and the position corrected.

Why doesn't the frame come with an integrated glass cover?

• The glass cover would change the baroque, ornate effect of the frame. Without it, the product looks more authentic and vintage. It is also not needed for reasons of protection, as the canvas print is wipe and light-resistant.

How much does the product weigh?

• Total size 40 x 50 cm - approx. 2.0 kg
• Total size 60 x 80 cm - approx. 4.5 kg
• Total size 70 x 90 cm - approx. 5.5 kg
• Total size 85 x 110 cm - approx. 12.5 kg

What do the stated dimensions refer to?

• The format specifications in our shop always refer to the external dimensions of the framed canvas print. The frame has a width of approx. 5 cm.

What is special about Recycled Canvas?

• The material is made of 100% recycled PET water bottles and is Global-Recycling-Standard certified. Recycling enables a more sustainable approach to our environment and resources. This saves energy and reduces the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills. In addition, Recycled Canvas eliminates the need for coating of the raw material, a process that is more energy-consuming. As a result, prints are more colourful and vivid than those on conventional material. The unique flexibility of the recycled material also means that colour breakage at the edges is a worry of the past. The feel and characteristic linen structure are identical to real linen.

Are screws and dowels included in the scope of delivery?

• No, dowels and screws are not included in the scope of delivery.
