A curtain is ideal as a room divider or door curtain. It creates a visual separation and provides more privacy without the need for structural modifications. At the same time, it offers protection against draughts and unwanted light, while its sound-absorbing effect creates a quieter atmosphere.

Our curtains are always 130 cm wide and can generally be used for windows up to 130 cm wide. However, if you want to hang the curtains with pleats, we recommend allowing a 20% buffer. In that case, a single curtain will cover windows up to 105 cm wide. If that's not enough, you can easily use multiple curtain panels.

The darkening velvet curtain has a neutral fine fleece backing that completely prevents the motif from showing through and ensures optimum darkening. In contrast, the light-absorbing velvet has a smooth, neutral reverse side that allows the motif to show through slightly. Our soundproof curtains have a neutral white reverse side. This additional layer of fabric enhances the acoustic effect and darkens the room.

Curtains with a dark motif offer a greater darkening effect than those with lighter motifs. Dark colours absorb more light, which means that less light penetrates the fabric. Light-coloured motifs, on the other hand, tend to let more light through, which means that the darkening effect is slightly less.

The curtain is equipped with a universal pleating tape that offers versatile hanging options. You can attach the curtain directly to a curtain rail using the large loops or use the numerous small loops to attach hooks and gliders. The flexible tape also makes it easy to integrate the curtain into a sliding curtain system.

Soundproof curtains significantly reduce noise in the mid and high frequency ranges. The noise of cars, conversations between several people or children playing is absorbed by the fabric. This reduces reverberation and improves room acoustics. A curtain cannot completely suppress noise – soundproof windows and doors are also required for this.

Translucent fabric dampens the incoming daylight when it is bright outside, thereby reducing glare. At the same time, it provides a comfortable level of privacy, as it is not possible to see in from outside during the day. At night, however, when the room is lit, contours and silhouettes can be seen from outside. Opaque fabrics, such as our velvet curtains, offer complete privacy at all times.
